Zondle Reflection:
The creation of Zondle is a genius one. The teacher can add a set of questions geared to specific goals to the created Zondle class. The teacher’s question set will be linked with any game the student selects to play. It seems the games are designed to specific learning styles and interest in which most of every student will benefit. No matter which game the student play the same question will be incorporated to the game.

My overall score is currently 188. The result said I have a strong foundation with technology but might need a little help with dependent learning.
Highest skill: Computer Skills 5.0
Lowest skill: Dependent Learning 3.83
I do not completely agree with the assessment results because I consider myself an independent learner with a drive to improve myself. I believe my technology experience gives me added value to help me get through. Even though I might not know the answer to all technology “components,” I do know where to find the answer. I think my score wasn’t as high in the “dependent learning” area because of my time issue. Now that I completed two classes I will have more time for this class. This assessment will give me the opportunity to reflect and see how I can better organize myself.

Hey I finished my assessment. We are supposed to partner up with others to get their analysis and then post in our reflections. Here are mine:
My scores was a 185. This basically said that I have some difficulty with technology.
Highest skill: Depending learning with a 4.17.
Lowest skill: Academic Skills 3.92
This was surprising because I would consider myself an independent learner, but I can see that I need more help with technology. I was surprised with my lowest skill because I am taking 3 classes per semester and have maintained a high GPA. I guess I need to step back and reflect on what I need to work more on
What are yours?

Even worse the ringing in my ears menaces to make me pass out at any moment. Before I leave, I must find something in the room to help me remember how I got here. So, I close the door and begin looking. I look for clues that can stir up any memory: trash in the trash bin, the tangled twin, blue bed sheets, and the chestnut-colored carpet. My blood vessels constrict in my brain, squeezing like a vice. But, I must continue looking. Once again my eyes fall on the night stand where the envelope lay, and I even peek under the bed. Nothing! Maybe I dropped something in the restroom? It’s worth a shot to check. My eyes sweep the restroom like radar equipment, noting the sweet vanilla scent, the lavender walls, the dripping spigot in the glistening white tub, and the pristine white tile. Nothing! There is nothing here to help me remember. I battle with the pain in my head, which threatens to bring me to my knees in surrender. I squeeze my eyes shut to keep the pain at bay. Time to leave. I pause at the door again, take a deep breath, and exit. The hotel seems strange to me; it has an old feel to it. I feel like the narrow walls want to close in around me, but it might just be my head. I reach the spacious office. I need directions to the post office. As I approach the stunned receptionist behind counter, I ask brusquely, “Where’s the nearest post office?” Silence is the only response. The sensation of being watched creeps up my spine and goose prickles travel up my arms, but I have to ask again. Reaching into a drawer behind the counter, the receptionist looks annoyed now, and for a second, I think he might pull out a gun. Instead, he pulls out a dull, stubby pencil and a dingy scrap of paper. He draws a shabby map and hands it carelessly to me. “Thank you,” I croak, feeling my mouth parched, and start heading out of the hotel into a sunlight so bright it feels like my eyes are being gouged out of their sockets. It takes only a minute before my eyes adjust…

CASE STUDY (Student-to-Student Interaction)
If you are taking an online class for the first time or are not tech savvy, student with student interaction is helpful. Sometimes students may over analyze instructions in an online class, or the instructions may not be so clear, but interacting with other students who have strong technical backgrounds can help when there are tech questions or “how to” explanations with tech are needed. Also, interacting and communicating with other students can bring insight to understand instructions better, or if they do not understand either, at least, you will know you are not alone. Student to student interaction can also foster teamwork and may also encourage sharing new ideas from different perspectives. As for me, having interaction with other students has helped me gain knowledge and see “information” from different viewpoints.
Review
I have to admit, I was wowed with the Capzles web 2.0 Tool. Currently it is my favorite tool because of its diversity to use various file types. Students with different learning capabilities can benefit by interacting with the file types they feel contented to interact with. Teachers can customize capzles to touch a specific learning style. Students can work on their own capzle and use different file types to their own style. They might feel comfortable using files types such as music, visual, hands-on flash games, etc. Students can also discover new file types that can match undiscovered learning styles.
- Capzles is cable of using various file types which students can experiment with different scales of interactions which can start class discussions
- Open ended question uses high order thinking. Student use high order thinking to create their own capzles because it is their own design
- Capzles makes it very easy to share information with other students. Students can invite other student to view their capzle or even work together to create a capzle
To add, the following activities can also be used using Capzles. Some files can be used for more than one learning style.
- Visual Learning Style: Student can use pictures or video
- Musical/Auditory Learning Style: Student can listen to uploaded auto or video
- Social Learning Style: Students can respond or work in groups to create capzles
